Walker Dance Park Music, directed by choreographer Fin Walker and composer Ben Park, is an associate company of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and they are Artists in Residence at Oxford Playhouse. Fin Walker’s virtuoso dance and Ben Park’s sonorous music lie at the heart of every production by Walker Dance Park Music.

Their latest work 5 2 10 takes you on a journey through the human emotions with fervent, powerful music - played live - and dance of heart-stopping athleticism and beauty.

5 2 10 is inspired by the colours, frequencies and emotions of the body’s energy system: the seven chakras. It unfolds in seven distinct yet connected parts, five unpredictable duets and two emotional and urgent solos. Each dance has its own unique soundworld, created by instruments including saxophones, bassoon, marimba, piano and congas - contemporary sound design with classical harmony and modern rhythm.

Award-winning collaborators: John Napier (set), Lucy Carter (lighting), Jack Galloway (costumes)

Seven extraordinary performers: dancers Catherine Bennett, Lee Clayden, Jason Keenan-Smith, Jenny Tattersall, musicians Stephen Gibson, Ben Park, Connie Tanner

“Some of the best music for dance to be heard in a long time, one of the most wondrous and weird scores in recent memory." Dance Now on Ben Park’s music for ‘The 3 of Us’.
