The intensity of a dance solo lies in our focus as an audience on one person. Fin Walker's self-portrait is a constant yet changing account of who she is as a performer and choreographer. As an artist it can be difficult to separate who you are from what you do. Moment to Moment is a moving image with personality, physicality and emotions all rolled into one. Erratic yet beautifully controlled, it shows Fin Walker simply doing what comes naturally. A far cry from art imitating life, it shows how inseparable those two key elements are when performance gets personal.
