Hian Ruth Voon - dancer
Ruth trained at Lewisham College and Northern School of Contemporary Dance.
From 2005 2007 she was a member of Union Dance and has also worked with Aletta Collins, Stephanie Schober, South East Dance and The Dance Movement companies, performing new works by Rafael Bonachela, Henri Oguike, Stephan Koplowitz, Mavin Khoo and Jeanette Brooks amongst others. Ruth has also worked with Carolyn Choa & Anthony Minghella (ENO/Madam Butterfly), Alex Reynolds/
Channel 4 and was a featured dancer and Assistant Choreographer on the E4 production The Cut.
As a teacher, Ruth has taught at Greenwich Dance Agency, The Young Place and for Union Dance and The Dance Movement.
Ruth joined WDPM in 2007.
